Previewing from November this musical play is set in a Caribbean hair salon in Toronto, where eight black women singers tell their amazing stories and will feature a coruscating feast of drumming, singing and dancing.. Trey Anthony, a Caribbean woman from Toronto, has written this extraordinary dramatic and musical testament to the challenges and triumphs in the lives of contemporary black women, many of whom are immigrants to North America from the Caribbean themselves. It is said that  “Mixing laughter and tears, revelation and inspiration, Da Kink In My Hair is sexy and smart and sure to have you on your feet cheering”. Sounds good to book for.
