OK this is seriously cheesy but my mole tells me it is such good fun. The musical version of the hit movie Footloose the Musical has all the catchy song and dance and feel-good 80s look of the film version, with a great deal more energy and LIFE. It has a big-city-kid-meets-small-town storyline, and when my mole went, audience members join into every hit song with gusto, enjoying every minute.

The set is bright and colourful and well adapted to the Novello stage and  the choreography and various brief scenes are delivered by an keen and energetic young cast –and the song performances are brilliant. I bet, however above it you think you are –you’ll belt it out with all of them with the Footloose theme song.

Well-known theatre stars, Stephen McCann who plays the Reverend Moore and Cheryl Baker who plays Vi Moore add a little gravitas to the proceedings and really add to the show.
