A night watching the musical Chicago was wonderfully enjoyable - a superb evening with this hit musical with its glamorous glittering staging, witty lines, exceptionally stylish choreography and such exciting and blood stirring music.

A night watching the musical Chicago was wonderfully enjoyable - a superb evening with this hit musical with its glamorous glittering staging, witty lines, exceptionally stylish choreography and such exciting and blood stirring music. The plot is straightforward though not seriously believable (but who cares): the chorus girl, Roxie murders her lover, but gets off with the help of Billy Flynn, the lawyer. She joins together with another murderess, Velma, to form a nightclub act. This is set in the 1920’s and features jazz style songs All That Jazz, Razzle Dazzle, Class and All I Care About.
From 18 April the news is that Bonnie Langford joins the cast.
