First seen at the Edinburgh Festival in 1991 its been around the world and back to London. There is no speech or dialogue but a combination of music, percussion and dance. Stomp is movement and sounds made from everyday objects – pipes and brushes, & dustbin lids etc – making the most unusual rhythmic music. It is unusual and creative and after 11 years people still find it new and surprising. There are eight in the company and they throw themselves into the performance with such energy. It really is amazing – you should hear the music they can make with rubber gloves ! Everybody who has seen it has recommended it. Patrick Garvin says "Stomp" hooks itself into the audience with a sense of magic by using the most unmagical of sources to make music.”
