On my list to book for September is the musical Girls Night. It’s a musical comedy, written by Louise Roche (Where the Heart is) following five friends as they review their pasts on a karaoke night out. There’s Carol, the party animal, Anita who is direct, Liza with “problems” and Kate who is boring but is the driver. Lucy Speed from EastEnders and Gwyneth Strong from Only fools and Horses head the cast.

Girls Night is said to have every girlies anthem there is (including I will Survive and Dancing Queen and Its Raining Men). This is going to be one where the audience gets up and joins in with the cast. Souns like real fun !
