What to do in London: Some Must-See Sights and Attractions

London is virtually unmatched in its historical and cultural significance, making it one of the top holiday destinations in the world. Due to the sheer number and variety of things that London has to offer, however, it can be hard for visitors to identify what they must see in the city. Here are some things that you must include in your itinerary of what to do in London.

London MUSEUMS
The British Museum is an obvious destination for visitors to the city. Featuring a permanent collection of over eight million items related to human history and culture, it takes at least two full days to see everything the museum offers.

Handel House Museum is a must-see location for music lovers. This museum, which is dedicated to the life, work and influence of G. F. Handel, is housed in the home that Handel lived in from 1723 to 1759. There are also some photos and exhibits related to Jimi Hendrix, who lived next door to Handel’s home at one time.

Kids will certainly love Pollock’s Toy Museum. There are toys from around the world in the museum’s collection, including famous stuffed toys, model cars, dollhouses and much more.

In the British Library, visitors can see original documents that have shaped world history. In addition to written works such as the Magna Carta, ancient biblical manuscripts and some of Shakespeare’s plays, audio recordings of famous speeches and other important audio and video recordings are also on display.
