Exploring London, a metropolis of over seven million people, can be overwhelming. With such an incredible wealth of historical and cultural attractions, it’s tough knowing where to start. With a Bike Tour you can explore London from a fun and unique perspective. Cycling is an ideal way to experience the sites and serves as the perfect introduction to the city. There are two unique tours to choose from. The Royal London Tour runs daily at 11am (until November 30th) from Queensway. If you’re new to London or even if you already know all the words to ‘God Save The Queen’, this tour has something for you! Whether talking about Kings, Queens and Princesses; palaces, parks and parliament, or battles and their heroes & villains, our knowledgeable guides will entertain you with the most poignant, fascinating and often downright absurd London stories, while our comfortable bikes and smooth route make cycling between sites fun and undemanding. Halfway through the tour we’ll take a break at the cornerstone of our culture: A traditional English pub (not included) – the perfect opportunity to chat to the rest of the group or get the latest London tips from your guide. Windsor Castle incl State Apts

Windsor Castle incl State Apts
£17.00

Windsor Castle, the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world, is one of the official residences of Her Majesty The Queen. The Castle's dramatic site encapsulates 900 years of British history. It covers an area of 26 acres and contains, as well as a royal palace, a magnificent chapel and the homes and workplaces of a large number of people. In 1992 fire destroyed or damaged more than 100 rooms at the Castle. By good fortune the rooms worst affected were empty at the time, and as a result, few of the Castle's artistic treasures were destroyed. The highly acclaimed restoration work, completed in 1997, is a testament to the extraordinary skills of some of the finest craftsmen in Europe. St George's Chapel is one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in England. It is the spiritual home of the Order of the Garter, the senior order of British Chivalry established in 1348 by Edward III. Within the chapel are the tombs of ten sovereigns, including Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour, and Charles I. Among the highlights of a visit to Windsor is Queen Mary's Dolls' House, the most famous dolls' house in the world.
