Royal Thames Bike Tour
Exploring London, a metropolis of over seven million people, can be overwhelming. With such an incredible wealth of historical and cultural attractions, it’s tough knowing where to start. With a Bike Tour you can explore London from a fun and unique perspective. Cycling is an ideal way to experience the sites and serves as the perfect introduction to the city. There are two unique tours to choose from. The Royal London Tour runs daily at 11am (until November 30th) from Queensway. If you’re new to London or even if you already know all the words to ‘God Save The Queen’, this tour has something for you! Whether talking about Kings, Queens and Princesses; palaces, parks and parliament, or battles and their heroes & villains, our knowledgeable guides will entertain you with the most poignant, fascinating and often downright absurd London stories, while our comfortable bikes and smooth route make cycling between sites fun and undemanding. Halfway through the tour we’ll take a break at the cornerstone of our culture: A traditional English pub (not included) – the perfect opportunity to chat to the rest of the group or get the latest London tips from your guide. The Royal Thames Bike Tour helps you explore the ‘liquid history’ and breathtaking urban landscapes by cycling both banks of London’s famous river. With smaller groups, a different route and a focus on the people’s history, this tour is the perfect complement to our Royal London Tour. Our guides offer legend and fact about a city that has united against Great Plagues, Fire and War, while developing into the cradle of modern civilization and commerce. For lunch, we invite you to wander through the aromas of our oldest and largest food market (not included), before cycling across Tower Bridge and embarking on a riverboat to central London.
